Biography

Nofrenø is a heavy rock four member band with progressive, metal, punk and stoner influences from Nicosia, Cyprus created in 2018. They are characterised by their explosive performances and their raw, tight and constantly evolving hardcore sound. Since day one, Nofrenø has been composing music that leads to a great number of ideas for their upcoming original music.

Their debut EP, "Diskos Protos", was released in February 2019, through MU Records Studio (CY) and it has been characterised as a "remodelling of the 80s Greek Rock genre". Their lyrics are written in Greek as they believe that there is a gap in the local music scene, whilst not ruling out the possibility of English lyrics as they want their music to be heard by a wider audience.

In March 2020 they released their single "Anoiksi" which is part of their upcoming second album that will be recorded and released by December 2020.

Now, Nofrenø are coming back in the music industry with their newest single "Fiery Earth", from their upcoming album "Journey Towards The Sun" which is expected to be released in November 2024. This time Nofrenø showcases a new sound without losing their explosive dynamic and groove. Their raw and brutal lyrics remain as always unchanged creating an eerie and haunting atmosphere. During this project Nofrenø are even more melodic than their previous work and provide to their audience an even more energetic and live feeling.

Since being founded in 2018, Nofrenø display a variety of their musical identities and influences with every release.
