If you drive along the coastal road west from Girne you arrive in Alsancak, and will see the Coffee and Music House “The Soulist” located at Karaoğlanoğlu Caddesi 206 , near Alsancak-Turkbank - roundabout and opposite of Dima Market. This Coffee and Music House is unique in the area.

You can see that the owner Alper Cengiz (lead singer of the group Soulstuff) has put a lot of emphasis on the details here. Music is at the centre of the stage. Furnishings and musical background for coffee enjoyment, trumpets as ceiling lighting, musical instruments and memories of musicians on the walls all add to the atmosphere of the coffee house.

During the day you can enjoy delicious coffee of different kinds, as well as homemade savoury and sweet pastries. This enjoyment is rounded off by good music. There is live music three times a week. Every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evening you can hear different kind of music (to be recommended), especially since Alper Cengiz with Friends sings himself now and again. The normal live Gigs start at about 21.30.

The love of music is also felt when you visit a live event. Alper Cengiz has put a lot of emphasis on the acoustics here and at a live concert you get the feeling of a small music hall.
