Progressive metal quartet MOTHER OF MILLIONS return to Cyprus presenting their new album MAGNA MATER, released in October 2024
Coming to us from Athens, Greece and ready to share their sound and entertain Cyprus with their intense soundscapes involving elaborate rhythms, folk aesthetics and progressive rock tunes.
Mother of Millions is a post/progressive metal band based in Athens.
They pioneered the progressive metal scene in Greece, with their releases being an integral part of the best records that reached the turntables and speakers of fans of the genre both in Greece and in Europe.
At the same time, Mother of Millions toured many of the stages of Greece and Europe, while they have shared the stage with artists who define today's prog metal idiom, such as Leprous, Pain of Salvation, Riverside and the Devin Townsend Project, with their emotionally intense concerts always move the audience.
Their debut Human was released in 2014, followed by Sigma in 2017, before Artifacts found its place at the top of the list of the most inspiring albums of 2019. The release of the EP Orbit in 2022 marks the band's reboot, after the loss of keyboardist and brotherly friend Makis Tsamkosoglou in 2019.
The band's long-awaited 4th full-length album, entitled Magna Mater, is released on October 4, 2024 by the Swedish ViciSolum.
